I will admit that I had a hard time adjusting to pregnancy. Like most dancers, I have had a love/hate relationship with my body, particularly my waistline. Women need to be reminded to love their pregnant body and to embrace it as it changes, even if that means someone’s little feet are pushing into one’s rib cage. It’s all a part of the experience, right?

Pregnancy can be an amazing thing! Women’s bodies are capable of creating new life, but the physical changes can be difficult. Hormonal shifts, weight gain, chronic back pain, and swelling in the hands and feet are all common side effects of pregnancy.
