I can’t believe this is my final blog post for Physiquality and PTPN. It has been quite a journey, starting as a salaried employee in the PTPN office in Calabasas, CA in the summer of 2007 through almost 14 years of continuing to work with the company as a freelancer.

I have learned a great deal about physical and rehabilitation therapy during my time with PTPN, which will serve me well in my next position. (More on that in a bit.) But for now, I give you my last post about preventing injury…

Avoiding soccer injuries

As any athlete (or sports parent) knows, playing any sport brings the risk of cuts, bruises and contact injuries from running into an opponent or teammate. Physiquality member MOTI Physiotherapy in Southern California points out that many soccer injuries occur in the lower extremities, ranging from knee pain and shin splints, to patellar tendinitis and ACL sprains and tears.
